RM3063 Schorl and almandine
In this specimen from the Bergakademie zu Freiberg we can see several schorl crystals, one of them with a well-defined prism and clearly visible terminal rhombohedral faces. The mica matrix contains reddish almandine crystals. Very interesting handwritten label. 6h6t3u
Size: 8 x 4.2 x 3.7 cm.
Main crystal: 11 mm.
Found in ±1900.
